Welcome to Clear Health Legal Medicine.

Our expertise in the industry will offer a service that is unparalleled, delivered with insight and integrity.

Our Services

Workers Compensation

We understand and appreciate the complexities of mental health conditions relating to Worker’s Compensation Claims. Work-related psychological injuries are a major concern for Australian workplaces. Generally, workers with psychological injuries have more time off work. These injuries can also be more complex than physical injuries.

Our assessments provide a comprehensive understanding of an individual’s psychological well-being and the impact of the trauma and resulting work capacity.

Motor Vehicle Accident

Our medico-legal reports provide crucial evidence in insurance claim proceedings related to motor vehicle accidents, including the validity and extent of injury claim.

Similarly, in legal settings, independent medico-legal opinions help establish a connection between the accident and the injuries, assisting in determining liability and appropriate compensation for the injured party.

Fitness for Work

A Fitness for Work Assessment is a critical process for business owners to ensure the health and safety of their workforce. These assessments evaluate an employee’s physical and mental fitness to perform their job duties safely and effectively.

Our in-depth mental health evaluations identify any potential psychological or emotional factors that may impact an employee’s ability to perform their job safely.

Total & Permanent Disability (TPD)

In order to satisfy the criteria of TPD, it must be established that due to the illness or injury, the injured person is unlikely to return to work in a job which they’re educated, trained and experienced in. They may be entitled to make a claim regardless of how the illness or injury came about.

Our WorkCover accredited psychiatrists have the training and experience to determine whether an individual’s mental illness condition is preventing them from being able to return to work.

Historical, Sexual & Institutional Abuse

Psychiatric medico-legal assessments involve comprehensive evaluations of the individual’s mental health, including clinical interviews, psychological testing, and a review of medical and psychiatric records.

These assessments aim to diagnose psychiatric conditions, identify the presence of trauma-related symptoms, and evaluate the psychological impact of the abuse or mistreatment.

Medical Negligence

A medical facility or practitioner may be liable for psychological injury resulting from medical negligence. If you have sustained emotional trauma while seeking medical treatment that has been found to be negligent, you may be able to include emotional distress as part of a compensation claim.

Our experts have experience across the various states in Australia and are able to comment in actions involving negligent treatment throughout the country.
